• Tuesday, July 15th - Cruise Night sponsored by Sovereign Bank, The Chelsea at Fanwood, and the Town Bank. The Fanwood BPA and the Cougar Club of NJ and PA host a classic car show with trophies and live music from 6pm - 9pm in the Municipal Parking Lot (Entrance on LaGrande Avenue, just off of Martine Avenue).

August

• 25th Annual National Night Out - Tuesday, August 5th. The Fanwood Community Policing Alliance is the local sponsor for this national event. LaGrande Park area in Fanwood.

• Tuesday, August 12th - Cruise Night sponsored by Sovereign Bank, Double Dipper and the Chiropractic Center of Fanwood. • Monday, October 20th - "Last Chance 2008" Golf Outing benefiting the Tri-County Chapter of the American Red Cross. This is a fundraiser for disaster funds assistance. The chapter covers 22 towns, including Fanwood.  Twin Brooks Country Club in Watchung, NJ.
